The Map of the Heart: A Journey Toward Agape
In Christ, we glimpse a love unlike anything this world can offer—a love that does not retreat in the face of suffering, does not measure worthiness, & lays itself down. something in us recognizes it. We ache for this kind of love, not the fragile versions we have learned to settle for, but something deeper, something whole. Yet we often stand at a distance—drawn to it, yet guarded. Because to love this way is not safe. It is costly. Yet within that surrender is something und

Marked
Cain said, “My punishment is more than I can bear,” yet even then, God marked him—not to condemn, but to protect. In this, we see a grace that meets us even in our lowest places. We are marked too—not by our failures, but by Christ’s redemption. When we say, “I can no longer bear this…” He answers, “I will carry it for you.” When we try to hide, He says, “I will find you.” And when we believe, “I’m a lost cause,” He reminds us, “You are Mine.”

When Anger speaks : What lies beneath the heart
Anger is rarely just anger.
It carries something deeper—hidden beneath the surface, waiting to be uncovered. In the stories of Cain and Abel, and the two sons in the parable, we are invited to look within and confront what lies beneath. The question God asked Cain, “Why are you angry?” becomes one we must also ask ourselves—and in facing it, we begin to see clearly, uncovering not only what troubles the heart, but where we truly stand in the fullness of God’s grace.

Carrying What He First Carried - Living the Resurrection Today
How do we know that the resurrection of Christ is still at work in our lives today—not just as something we celebrate, but as something we are living? Just days after Easter, this question was placed before us during a Bible study, inviting us to reflect more deeply. We spoke of truth we hold onto: that we are loved, that death is defeated, and that hope has been restored. Yet the question remained—how do we recognize that this resurrection is alive within us?

Just one hour
“Could you not watch with Me one hour?” – Matthew 26: 40
A question Christ once asked His disciples in the Garden of Gethsemane—a question that does not remain confined to that moment, but echoes into our lives today. As we journey through Great Lent and approach Good Friday, it calls us beyond intention—inviting us into a faith that is not only felt, but lived.
So we are left to ask ourselves: Am I willing to give Him just one hour?

He clothed us - Genesis 3:21
Genesis 3:21 offers one of the first glimpses of God’s mercy after the fall. Though humanity chose to turn away, God did not leave us exposed in our shame. Instead, He clothed us with compassion, covering what sin had left broken. From the very beginning, God revealed His heart to restore, redeem, and clothe us in His mercy — a mercy that continues to reach for us even today.

Where are you?
After the fall, humanity began to hide—from shame, from guilt, and from the presence of God. Yet in the garden, God asked a simple question: “Where are you?” Not as an accusation, but as an invitation. A question that did not remain in Eden, but continued to echo throughout the Scripture—and even in our own lives today. What if this question was never meant for Adam alone, but also invites each of us to ask ourselves the same question today?
